Jamie's obituary

Jamie Dee Lena
January 20, 1971- August 5, 2021

Jamie Dee Lena passed away in Daytona Beach, FL on August 5, 2021 at the young age of 50. He was
born in Mount Kisco, NY to Michael D Lena and Barbara E. Lena. He was one of 4 children and grew up in Somers, NY.

His love of tinkering with electronics and cars as a kid would mold him into a young mechanic. He
would go on to move his young family to Florida to work on Race Cars in the Daytona Beach area.

Jamie leaves behind three sons James, Ryan and Jason who live with their mother Stephanie Lena in
Carmel, NY.
Jamie is survived by his mother Barbara E. Lena of Columbia, SC, brother Michael Lena (Ellen) of
Columbia, SC, sisters Sherri Poignant (Bruce) of Somers, NY, Toni Petschko (Jason) of
Washingtonville, NY and his nieces and nephews Brittany, Cassidy, Bradley, Austin, Dillon, Michael
and Sebastian.
Jamie is preceded in death by his father Michael D. Lena.

His heart that felt so much love, happiness and pain will never beat in time with us again.   His eyes that saw so much before him, will never see his children grow up.   His hands that built so
many great things, will never hold a wrench again or
show his sons how to use one.   His laugh is one that I miss the most, was always given whenever he thought something was funny or just to make you laugh,
will never be heard again………

Jamie will be cremated and laid to rest with his father Michael D. Lena and Barbara E. Lena at
their final resting place at the Poughkeepsie Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
There will be no service at this time. If you would like to make a donation in my brother’s name
to NAMI- National Alliance Mental Illness,
