Jamesella (Sanders) Easter , 85 of South Holland, IL passed away at UChicag Medical Memorial Hospital in Harvey, IL on May 25, 2022.

Jamesella was born on November 11, 1936 in Tupelo, Mississippi to James and Emma Nancy Sanders. She graduated Roosevelt University in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration. She went on to have a very fulfilling career as a Social Service Worker for over 25 years. Jamesella married the love of her life, Joe Easter, on May 24, 1956 in Chicago, IL. They have been married for 66 years and had three loving children.

One of her greatest passions in life was to spend time with friends and family. You could also find her shopping, reading and watching movies. Jamesella was a woman of great faith, a dynamic Bible teacher and an amazing counselor. She will be remembered as a true lovely praying women of God.

She is survived by her beloved husband Joe; cherished daughters Adrienne (Edgar) Nelson and Karen (Phillip) Griffin; her grandchildren Anthony, Eric, Angel, Neal, LaTrese, Kanisha, Chris, Katlyn, Angel G. and Izaac ;12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; loving brother and sister Wiley Sanders and Forestine Ware.

Preceded in death by her son Darren Joseph Easter; parents James and Emma Nancy; sisters Dorothy Smith and Ruby Jean Rogers.
