To Jimmy’s family I send my condolences, hoping that you too have pleasant memories of him as I have . He was a student in my classes at Woodruff High school his junior and senior years, a young man admired by students and faculty alike. He was always respectful of those around him, sympathetic and helpful to any needing such. We who knew him for only a few years as a young man relish the memories he gave us. I hope your memories will succor you and bring you joy the rest of your life. Mary Montgomery Dunlap.
Jimmy was my first cousin and we were pretty much inseparable through grade school and junior high. My dad and Jimmy’s dad Henry we’re brothers. My dad was drafted during Korea so we left Woodruff for several years. I did not know Jimmy’s second wife, but I do remember his first. I send my condolences to all those who were close t Jimmy.
Diana, I am so sorry to learn about Jimmy’s passing. I remember the first time I met you in Woodruff and how much Jimmy loved and adored you. He was like a brother to me as we grew up together. May your memories be a blessing. My thousand prayers are with you and your family during these difficult times.
