Personal note from Mother of James’ children

James was an artist who seemed at peace in his studio. He commented that he was also an avid outdoorsman with a love of fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, and mountain biking. His lifelong hobby was building miniatures, painting them, creating playing boards and scenery and then finally playing elaborate table top games with dice.

Obituary

James William Curran, 55, died on November 25, 2025. He was born on January 17, 1970 to Candice Woodruff and Walter Curran. 

He married Teresa Parnell on December 1, 1989. They have 3 surviving children and 6 grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his mother and infant daughter, Jade. 

He enjoyed a life of artistic freedom, outdoor endeavors, fishing trips, musician, friends and online gaming community. He cared for his furry cat companions and …

James final wishes were to donate his body to scientific studies to further medical research. His cremation remains will have a resting place in Onalaska, Lewis County, WA, next to an infant daughter (Jade d. 1995) of his.
