James's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of James "Jim" Weinberg, who passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. Born on November 22, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia, Jim lived a full and vibrant life, filled with love and an enduring passion for life's simple pleasures.
Jim was a warm, caring man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, and his vivacious spirit was highly infectious to those around him.
Among Jim's many passions, gardening held a special place, specifically his adoration for desert roses. This hobby was more than mere pastime; it was a reflection of his personality – resilient, vibrant, and extraordinarily beautiful.
Jim is survived by Joan Schoeman and his children, Allyson Fogel, Jillian Roig, Amy Greene and Mark Schoeman. His brothers, Joseph and Jon Weinberg, will tremendously miss their beloved brother.
Jim was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Weinberg, and his parents, Eugene and Anne Weinberg. He has now joined them in eternal peace. His memory remains a celebration of a life well lived and a testament to the power of love, warmth, and kindness.
In these trying times, we find solace in remembering Jim's life. His legacy of love and warmth will continue to live on in every heart he touched. We will always remember Jim not for the fact that he is no longer with us, but for the way he lived, loved, and touched our lives.
