James's obituary
Jim was born in Toledo, OH on February 5, 1949, grew up in Randolph, NJ, graduating from Randolph HS in 1967 and going on to Boston University for his bachelor’s degree. In the dismal job market of the times, he made a detour and put his inherent dance talent to good use as an instructor at Arthur Murray Studios, later representing them in great form through Ballroom Dance competitions. In 1974, Jim went on to fulfill his passion for travel and adventure by becoming an international Flight Attendant and later, a Pursor with TWA where he learned to “sleep standing up” as he was known to say. His career spanned decades only coming to an end when corporate mergers and management changes took the fun out of it. Then after meeting Hal, he partnered in a thriving business designing and implementing many wonderful home renovations in the Tampa, FL area. In their 21 years together, they enjoyed many international travels. Jim was an avid boater and a loving co-owner to many a fortunate rescue dog. Jim was the kind of person who left an impression on all whose lives he touched and will be missed by all. A Celebration of Life for Jim will be arranged at a future date.
