James A. Watlet 

, Sr., 58, of Courtland, VA passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. James was employed by Huntington Ingalls Industries as a Pipefitter and enjoyed his occupation for 40 years. He also enjoyed bowling, auto racing and any minute he could spend with his family. James will be dearly missed by so many friends, co-workers and family and will always be remembered.

James was predeceased by his father, Albert V. Watlet, Jr. and his sisters, Dawn Kushner and Ginger Savage. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Watlet, his loving wife of 30 years, Linda L. Watlet, his sons Paul M. Watlet and James A. Watlet, Jr. and his daughter Krista L. Bond as well as 6 grandchildren and many neices and nephews. We request all of James's friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Parklawn - Wood in Hampton, VA on April1, 2023. Visitation from 1 to 2pm and service at 2pm.
