James's obituary
James "Jimmy" Franklin Upchurch was born on December 5, 1952 to Lillie Mae Upchurch in Surry county North Carolina. Jimmy passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem on March 22, 2024. Mr. Upchurch is preceded in death by his son James Allen Upchurch, mother Lillie Mae Upchurch, grandparents James and Bessie Upchurch.
Mr. Upchurch leaves behind a son Darris and Kaley Upchurch, Grandson Deriek Mitchell Upchurch, as well as special family members Roger and Mary Chappell, Cathy Fleming, Vickie Upchurch and Mark Upchurch.
A celebration of life will be held at Faith Baptist Church Way in Mt. airy on April 13th 2024. Visitation will start at 10 am and a short service at 11.
