Hey Bubba! I will miss our phone conversations and our lunch get-togethers when I'm in Dallas. I will never forget how you calmed my nerves during my new hire training in the summer of 2023. The stress squeeze toy you gave me makes me smile every time I see it on my bookshelf. You are missed very much.
Our condolences to James's family. Jim was our classmate at L. D. Bell, and fondly remembered by both of us. ~~ JP and Linda Johnson, Chesapeake, Virginia.
Still eating at some of his favorite places.

We were new hires at USAir, class of 12/12/84.  We each commuted to Pittsburgh for work, and had "crash pads" there.  I ran into him in Operations, after a long trip, and we were both headed to our pads.  I suggested "let's go get a beer!" and he agreed, saying he'd call me to arrange things.  Once I got to my pad and realized that the only jumpseat to Denver available the next morning required a wakeup at "zero-dark-30."  It was already pretty late, and when he called, I had to renege.  Never let me forget it...

I'm so sorry to hear about Jim.  He was a great friend and I will miss his regular calls..."Let's go get a beer!" being his opening greeting. He wasn't a drinker, but it had to do with something I said once a long time ago that he wouldn't let me forget.  Enough said.  He always had a joke ready... yes, sometimes (most of the time) inappropriate.

He was a true Southern gentleman.  My wife, Katie,  surprisingly always thought his greeting of "hey darlin'" was endearing and sweet.

Jim will be missed by many.
