Background
Last October, my father and my son shared a special trip together to see the Polar Bear in the wild in Churchill, Canada. It had been something my dad had hoped to do for many years, and the adventure became even more meaningful because he was able to experience it with his grandson.
Polar bears are seen as symbols of resilience, strength, and the ability to endure in some of the harshest environments on Earth. Because this experience meant so much to him, our family has chosen to honor his memory through donations to Polar Bears International, whose work helps protect polar bears and the fragile Arctic environment they depend on.
