I met Jim last summer through mutual friends. He was a kind soul. Kinda ornery as well. He would intentionally distract me from my tasks with his conversations. He shared many of his memories from being young. He reminded me a lot of my dad the way he would tell the same stories of his life time and time again... not remembering that he already told me the story before... I didn't have the heart to stop him either. He just would get this sparkle in his eyes when he was reminiscing reciting his life word for word the same as I heard the time before. He enjoyed visiting my 5 baby turtles, as he had turtles as pets as a kid so we had some things in common. He will be missed! My condolences to his family... may his memory live on and may his soul rest in peace.
