James Morris Sutliffe, age 83, of Mequon, WI. Dear father of James (Roberta); loving grandfather of Charlie and Cate; beloved husband of the late Margaret nee Wahl; cherished brother of Mary Loucks and treasured uncle of Beth Beard.

Jim was born and raised in Chicago. He attended Loyola University and served in the US Army on active duty from 1959-1961, including overseas deployment to Korea. After his service, he worked on the Chicago Board of Trade for many years, where he was known for his biting sarcasm and dry sense of humor. Jim loved Chicago and was a loyal Bear and Cub fan, declaring that he “would not leave this world until the Cubs won the World Series.” He was granted his wish in 2016.

Graveside Service on Monday, September 21st 10:00AM at St Joseph Cemetery, 3100 Thatcher Avenue River Grove, IL.
