Lisa and Nathan, I was so shocked at the sudden loss of James.
My favorite memory of James was at Sarah's wedding on June 12, 1999. He and Jonathan were doing the chicken dance at her reception. They were really enjoying themselves. It was so cute.

I hope that you are able to enjoy many memories of James...he was such a neat person with many good traits.

Love, Aunt Kathy and family
You are constantly surrounded by the love of your family & friends,, but I know it doesn’t help much. The fates have been so unkind to you all. With the virus spreading, is there a chance of rescheduling? We’re wondering if we 77 year olds should come after all.

James was a one in a million kind of person, always so upbeat and loving life. The after life/heaven/the good place gained one of the best and I am jealous.
James was about 8 years old on a summer vacation to Creede. We started hiking up to a Ruby Lake. James was ready to turn around so I hiked back down the trail with him. Somehow we got on the subject of movies and I got a scene by scene description of “Angels in the Outfield.” James liked baseball. That same year he gave a perfect impression of a major league player at bat. He tapped the bat on his shoe, spit off to the side and swung away!
One summer when James was attending K-State, I was fortunate enough to be entertained with an impromptu percussion duet by James and my son. Absolutely everything in the apartment kitchen became an instrument, as they tapped (banged) with wooden spoons (and maybe a stray drumstick or two) creating music that was a true expression of the joyous rhythm they could uniquely find in life. So special...
My utmost condolences. I only knew James a short while, but he was one of the friendliest, funniest, smartest people I know. My heart hurts for you.
