James's obituary

James Todd Shultz, 76, formally of Rochester, Indiana and Litchfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully in his home on February 16, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Celebration of Life Memorial will be announced at a later date for both Port Charlotte, Florida and Litchfield, Illinois areas.

No funeral services will be held. No burial will take place.

James Todd Shultz (Todd Shultz or J Todd Shultz) was born in Spiceland, Indiana to James and Hazel Shultz on August 24, 1948. He went to school in Rochester, Indiana. He married Linda Shultz on November 27, 1970, in Rochester, Indiana. He attended the University of Indiana. Moving from Rochester, Indiana to Litchfield, Illinois in the early 70’s. Todd and Linda Shultz had a boat store, Water Bug Marine, from 1979 to 1989. He worked in radio advertising at WSMI for 34 years. He also built a successful pool and billiard lathe manufacturing business in his later years. He enjoyed golf, water skiing, and pool in both Illinois and Florida.

James Todd Shultz is preceded in death by his father James Shultz, mother Hazel Shultz, brother Donald Shultz, and sister Jody (Shultz) McClain.

Todd Shultz is survived by his wife Linda Shultz, son Aaron Shultz and wife Sabrina, daughter Erica Hall and husband Jeffery, eldest grandson Brandon Shultz and wife Kristin, step-granddaughter Paighton Hall, grandson Brent Provost, eldest granddaughter Ava Shultz, granddaughter Audrey Shultz, youngest grandson Henry Shultz, step-great granddaughter Ava Rice, step-great grandson Evan Rice, and great grandson Oliver Shultz.
