James's obituary
Jim had a career as a pharmacist in various capacities for 45 years and up until his time of passing. He was very active as part of the Alpha Psi chapter of Phi Delta Chi and served as their Chair for the Leadership Foundation Fundraising and Stewardship committee. Pharmacy in every manner was a true passion for him.
Jim had an infectious zest for life that was apparent to anyone who knew him for more than a few moments. He lived life with love, passion, joy...and a little risk! He loved snow skiing, taking long adventures on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling the globe, spoiling his dogs, endless playtime with his grandkids, and any time he could spend creating memories with his family and friends. He was known for remembering the full names of everyone he met, and had a way of impacting them in a deep, personal way. Everyone who met him knew they’d met such a special man. As a valued husband, father, friend, and colleague he was always patient, kind, and generous. There are not enough words to sum up how amazing he was...he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private memorial will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Due to the unique circumstances of our time, the service will also take place virtually and that information will be communicated separately.
