Eddies autopsy was returned with "Blunt Head Trauma" after a 6 month investigation by OMI in Albuquerque, NM. The circumstances behind that night are still in question. We, as his family, will not rest until we know what really happened to Eddie on the night of 08/24/2019. Unfortunately, the events have been told as 3+ different stories by a friend. So at this time, we are unable to celebrate his life until we know what really happened. We appreciate everyone' s understanding during this horrific time. If anyone has more information surrounding the events of the night in question, please reach out to Santa Fe Police or directly to his daughter. James Edwin Saltz III, of Santa Fe, NM, formerly Tucumcari, NM passed away Sunday August 25th, 2019 at Christus St. Vincent Medical Center. “Eddie" is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Danielle and son Chris, grandchildren Donovan and Salvatore, mother Linda, sister Kristin (Robert), brother Matt (Denise), and 5 beautiful nieces.
