James's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bishop James Salako, a beloved figure and beacon of positivity. Born on March 11, 1956, Bishop embarked on his final journey on August 29, 2024, leaving a legacy that resonates with love, altruism, and unwavering faith.
Remembered for his kindness, selflessness, and unending love, Bishop James was a man who cherished his ties and believed in the inherent goodness of people. He taught us the invaluable lessons of love and forgiveness, lessons that will stay etched in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.
He built an impressive life with notable achievements that were of both academic and personal nature. Bishop James held a PhD in Theology and transformed his knowledge into action through an International Ministry. However, his greatest accomplishment, the one he held dear, was his family. He was an epitome of a loving, caring family man who always put his family's needs before his own.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Funmi Salako, children Ezekiel, Paul and Emmanuel; grandchildren, Monikka, Grace, Joseph, Esther, Shiloh, Abigail and Daniel, along with siblings. They remember him as a figure of strength, resilience, and unwavering faith, a man who believed in the power of love and the virtue of selflessness. His memory will forever remain a guidepost, inspiring us to be better individuals and showing us the path towards God and kindness.
James's legacy was to serve God, care for one's family, and love others unconditionally. His life serves as a reminder of these noble values, which we should all strive to emulate.
In lieu of flowers, a fund, "Family Support," has been set up in his honor at the following address: https://everloved.com/life-of…. It is his family's hope that his spirit of giving and supporting others will continue to live on in this form.
We mourn James's passing but find solace in the extraordinary life he led, the people he touched, and the enduring legacy he left behind. May his soul rest in peace.
