James was so incredibly easy to work with and was always there when you needed someone to talk to. I met him on the first day of Psych Tech school at Porterville and he, Leland Duckworth and I became friends. James and I remained friends all along I just allowed the connection to get so thin when I moved to another state and life intervened. He was a bottomless pit when it came to freshly baked peanut butter cookies, eating two dozen at one sitting and denying it to my face when he and I were the only two in the kitchen at the time. Here’s to the best co-worker, friend, confidante, spirit soother, and just kind man. It was so easy to tell what a good man James was that at his and Jacque’s wedding my three year old daughter told Jacque that when she didn’t want James any more Kelly did. He is one of her earliest memories and she grew up thinking of him as family. Condolences to all who knew and loved him, goodbye my friend.

I was shocked when I heard the news of James's passing. I thought treatment was working. I’m going to miss his him. He truly was a beautiful person both inside and out.

James was such a lovely person a pleasure to be around and so much fun .I will never forget his speed we played soft ball together and he had to slow down going around second base or his momentum would cause his feet to get tangled up and down he would go. I will dearly miss James
