Jim's obituary

James Richardson (1963-2023) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Richardson, who left us on March 20, 2023, after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Born in 1963 in Yakima, Washington, James lived a full and vibrant life, always approaching life with a positive and energetic spirit. James was a highly respected civil engineer, machinist, and mechanical engineer who made impactful contributions to these fields throughout his career. He consistently brought a dedicated and thorough approach to his work and was admired by colleagues and clients alike. In his free time, James embraced an array of hobbies that showcased his creativity and craftsmanship. He enjoyed hunting, building model airplanes, working on car projects, metalworking, and cider making, to name a few. James' boundless passion for life and learning was infectious, and he inspired those around him to explore their own hobbies and interests. Above all, James will be remembered for his upbeat, caring, helpful, funny, and energetic personality. He was a beacon of light in the lives of many, always offering an encouraging word, a helping hand, or a listening ear. James had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated, creating countless cherished memories with his loved ones. James is survived by his loving spouse, Sandra Richardson. Together, they shared a rich and fulfilling life, filled with laughter, adventure, and love. James also leaves behind his siblings, Robert (Nancy) Richardson, Corrin Richardson, Marie (Christopher) Ehlis, Brian (Lisa Kane) Richardson. He is preceded in death by his parents James K and Annette Richardson. James' passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those he loved, but the strength of his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the pleasure of knowing him. As we mourn the loss of James Richardson, let us remember the joy and positivity he brought to the world, and strive to carry on his legacy in our own lives.

A celebration of life will be planned at a future date.
