James Reinert “Jim”, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023 at the age of 73. Jim grew up in Buffalo, NY and graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN, where he was a member of the varsity football team and received his master’s degree at the University of Chicago. Jim spent 30 years and retired as a president at Ryerson Steel. Jim enjoyed his retirement in Michigan and Florida, traveling the world and seeing America with Katie, on the sidelines of events supporting his grandchildren and his favorite sports teams, and spending time with friends and family. He was pre-deceased by his father and mother, James and Marjorie Reinert of Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Katie Reinert; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bob Przybysz; his four children and their spouses, Kim Reinert and Derek Wessel, Rob Reinert and Danielle Charette, Kyle and Tiffany Reinert and Colleen Reinert and Matt Kobi; ten grandchildren, who were his pride and joy: Caitlyn, Matthew, Nathan, Alejandro, James, India, Beck, Levi, Will and Marlin.
