James R. Everett ( or Reggie as he was called by his family) was born May 20, 1953 in Harrisburg, MS to Elijah and Eddie Everett. James was the first of four siblings and is survived by all three-Richard Everett, Kenneth Everett, and Sandra (Everett) Harris, respectively. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Growing up, James resided in various states as a part of a military family, so once he neared the age of 20, he entered the United States Military and served for several years.
On the 14th of December 2020, James succumbed at Bostic Nursing Center in Milledgeville, Georgia. Although he endured many difficulties in his life, we know he experiencing no pain or suffering now. (Eccl. 9:5) Our hope is, in the very near future, for him to experience life on earth with no fear of death or sickness. (Revelation 21:4)
