James was born the oldest of 5 siblings. He was a very personable person guy with a huge heart. He never met a stranger. He was a contractor and painter. He was a lover of sports especially basketball and football! He was also very political. He enjoyed the political banter back and forth! He was also very spiritual and loved the Lord! In his spare time he enjoyed refinishing furniture and was actually pretty good at it. James loved watching classic TV and the old westerns! We will miss his smile!

James is survived by his granddaughter Sophia, sister Sabrina Adkins of Canton Michigan, brothers Ernest Perdue of Jeffersonville, pa and Eric Perdue of Oxford Mississippi. Longtime companion Diane Rogers. He also has 3 nieces and 6 nephews, many great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Gloria Jeffrey, Daughter Nicole, Sister Kim Allegretto, Nephew Austin Perdue
