James Rafael Williams, 51, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at Abrazo Hospital in Phoenix, surrounded by his immediate family and close friends.
Born on November 21, 1973, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, James was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Loretta C. Adigun; siblings Adewaleia S. Adigun and James A. Williams; daughters Me’Chiel S. Harris and Jamese R. Williams; grandchildren London Currington and Kinzie Onyeginachi; nieces and nephew Aminya V. Adigun, Ivan B. Dinkins Jr., ILeia N. Dinkins, and Ceja A. Adigun; along with a wide circle of other relatives and friends.
A gifted student throughout his school years, James consistently earned honors while excelling in athletics. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, he was known for his warm spirit and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
James’s love for automobiles led him to establish several mobile repair businesses focused on helping those in need—especially drivers stranded or facing unexpected challenges on the road. His dedication to service was marked by kindness and generosity that touched many lives.
Services for James are being handled by All Options Funeral Home. The family expresses deep gratitude to Abrazo Hospital for their compassionate care, to the priests who offered spiritual support during this time, and to Maricopa County for their assistance.
James will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who carry him in their hearts.
