- James H Prescott Sr, 79, passed away at home with family after being diagnosed with lung cancer just a few months prior. James resided in Lebanon , CT where he worked for the Lebanon Transfer Station and Cushman Farms in Franklin for well over a decade. He had a passion for sportscars and owned many over the years. He was the kind of person who would help anyone that needed it. He was well loved by anyone that knew him. He had an incredible worth ethic. He owned many businesses over the years. His knowledge was impressive not only in his line of of work but life in general. Family to him wasn't just blood. His love for his family and friends showed in everything he did. He definitely left his mark in the world. He will be loved and missed forever. He left behind his son James H Prescott Jr, daughter-in-law Mary Isbell and granddaughter Emma Isbell. He also left behind his brothers Ronnie Prescott, Bobby Prescott, Dennis Prescott, Clyde Prescott, Carl Prescott, numerous in-laws, neices, nephews, cousins and close neighbors. We will have calling hours Tuesday, December 7th, 1pm-3pm at Godere Funeral Home 21 N 2nd Ave in Taftville, CT 06380. Sympathy cards can be sent to James Prescott Sr 69 S 4th Ave Taftville, CT 06380. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
