You're gone too soon, I still remember the good times we had in our younger years. Rest in peace my cousin.

The world felt a little darker the day I learned of your passing. The joy and happiness you brought to the room wherever you went was contagious. You were a life long friend to me and my family since we were stationed together in 2005 as recruiters in Mattydale. I was honored and grateful to be able to attend the celebration of life today - as it truly (and evidently) was a life that impacted so many people. God called you home - in His time and not on ours....but...I will miss you my friend.
To the family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I could sit and talk for hours about how much Jim impacted my life and how he was always just a phone call away for me no matter where either of us were stationed. He called himself "the bravo team commander" when we were separated into two teams in Mattydale and it stuck for years to come. It was one of the running jokes for the past 16 years. When you serve in the Military, you have a lot of Soldiers beside you...but Jim was one of those who stood out as one of the greats. He will truly be missed.
