Dear Laura,

I was saddened today to hear of your dad’s passing last November. We were in the same schools in KC all through our childhood.  From grade school he talked of being a doctor in a small community and he was laser-focused always on his goal. It was impressive to see how quickly he was determined to achieve it. I’m sure he was as respected and loved as much throughout his life as he was in high school. I’m very sorry, Laura, and know that you and all your family miss him very much. It was a pleasure to know him and an honor to be his friend. Thank you for letting us know. Sincerely and with sympathy and love, Suzy Williamson Henderson

For over 30 years Dr. Parks was my personal doctor having saved my life in 2002 from a infected gland in my throat. Throughout the years he was always available, friendly and diligent in getting my health back to 100%. I was sad to just find that he is now home in Heaven but God knows he has one of the best Doctors & gentleman at his side now. RIP Dr. Parks and I will see you again one day! S/ Major Keith H. Jim taught us a lot, both by his word and his action. He always made us feel good to be in his presence. We enjoyed his hospitality and his stories. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It was an honor to have known him.

He was my child hood doc.  I will always remember when I ended up in hospital with kidney issue at 10 years old. He was out of town and when he got back he came to hospital and told me he was going to throw my shoe at me for being in the hospital. He was so good to me and my family and I was never afraid of the doctors because of him. Prayers to all of his family.
My prayers are with the family. Jim was always a delight to be around.  Loved it when he would gather the grandchildren around and tell them bible stories.  He will be missed.
Jim was such a wonderful soul and good Christian. I will always remember his hearty laugh. Nancy, Sara, Scott and Laura, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Words simply can't convey the thoughts and love I  feel for the entire Park family.  So glad that we could all be together last April in Phoenix at David's wedding, and within the last few days when he called to say Happy Birthday.  What a great guy......he will be missed by many.
My prayers are with all of you. Jim was a special person and will be greatly missed. May our Lord fill your thoughts with lots of loving, funny memories as you grieve this loss. Tonight he is dancing on the streets of gold and asking all those questions that never got answered while walking this earth.
Miss you and your family. Loved having church in your home. I loved your stories and your generosity. May the Lord welcome you with open arms  love, Chris
I was an exchange student in 1983-1984 and lived with the Park family for five months and truly felt like a family member. I am truly sorry to hear about him passing. All my love to his wonderful family.
Love Anne
