I was, at one time or another, Jim's brother-in-law, pool teammate and fellow fisherman. I saw Jim as a unique fellow - always pleasant to me and others. I'd lost touch over the years but always thought I'd see him again. So sorry to hear of his passing! Cierra and Courtney....my best wishes. Roger
Words cannot describe how my heart dropped seeing the post online. We always said our goodbyes as if it was our last. “Take my friend”. And Jim always talked to me about Cierra, Courtney, and Kristine. It was his passion, his family. But he always found extreme appreciation for good friends. You’ll be missed by so many. I just wish we had a lot more time with you. You really left an impression on us all!
Friends for life - that's how you always wrote to us. Now it is our turn to send you a final greeting. Rest in peace dear Jim. We will never forget you. Helmut and Sylvia
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Jim. My prayers and condolences go out to you. I was a co- worker/friend of his at Placon for over 20 years. He was kind, had a gentle spirit, and had a good sense of humor which we shared together. May God fill your heart with healing and comfort during your grief. He will be greatly missed by many.
