James's obituary

James (Jim) Dean Mohr Born to small town terril, Iowa Nov. 20, 1957. Residing in Sarasota, Fl where he sadly passed April 11th at 9:24pm after a long battle of health issues.

James a widow; survived by his children Christopher, Joshua, Jennifer, and Amanda, as well as five grandbabies.

And many others include his big brother Rob, mother to his children Debra and aunt Elaine.

James is remembered for his loving, caring, charismatic, and witty nature by everyone who knew him. He loved his companion dog Gypsy and occasionally speaking german. He took pride in fixing things like watches, cars or mowers. His favorite hobbies included going scooba diving, art sketching, shooting his guns and just seeing his grandbabies in his older age.

His departure from earth to heaven has left his family in emotional turmoil.

A devoted man to everything he did. He worked many years at the water and then gas department for Charlotte county and at Babcock furniture store of Punta Gorda, FL.

Preceded in death by his father Lynn Loid Mohr, grandmother Margaret Nicholena Jorgensen And brother Larry Gene Mohr at Fairview cemetery in terril, Iowa. Where James will also be laid to rest.

Arrangements for his memorial service will be held at New Day church in Port Charlotte,FL on May 14th 2024 at 5pm.
