James's obituary
James "Jim" Mohnach of San Jose CA took his last breath on September 21, 2021 after suffering a heart attack a few days before. He was born on January 27, 1961, the son of Martin and Elizabeth " Betty" Recchia Mohnach. He spent his first 22 years of life in Wappingers Falls, NY and graduating from John Jay High School where he applied himself most ardently to football. Jim moved to CA in 1983 and married Vicki Villar, the mother of his 3 children Steven, Ryan and Nicole whom he loved and brought him much joy.
Jim knew how to work hard and rose from a meter reader to Regional VP at Heritage Propane and then took his expertise to Suburban Propane managing their San Jose office.
He could laugh about anything and constantly worked to make others laugh too.
He was loved and he knew how to love, especially his family, striving to push them to their best, but always wanting to help them find their path. He found the Lord on his own terms and was baptized a few years ago. He ushered at his church Community Christian in Morgan Hill.
The outdoors was his happy place whether it was hunting or fishing. He shared his passion for martial arts with his children
and he achieved a second degree blackbelt. He loved to cook and also shared that with his family. His recent passion was for ballroom dancing. Wherever he went there was laughter and he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Christy, his Children Steven, Ryan and Nicole and Eason ( Christy's son),his father Marty, brother Steven, nephews Westley, Lukas and Chipper. He is predeceased by his mother Betty, brother Michael, sister Susan and nephew Michael.
