James's obituary

James C McCluster was born on March 9, 1940 in Richland, GA., to Allen and Della McCluster and was raised by James and Alice Allen. He was a curious and energetic boy.  He was educated in and graduated from the New York City Public School System. After he graduated, James joined the United States Navy and worked as  a Mechanic Engineer. After serving his country, in 1967, he was employed by the United States Post Office until he retired in 1997. In 1964, he met his wife Jannie and went on to have two children, Sharon and Kimberly.  James always put his family first and was a dedicated father. He was strong, kind, loving, and a great provider and supportive father. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He loved discussing the Bible and Biblical topics. After retiring from the United States Post Office, he relocated to Dover, Delaware.  James life's journey came to an end on July 19, 2021. He was predeceased in death by his parents and his sister Mary. He leaves to cherish a lifetime of love an precious memories a loving family; his wife (Jannie McCluster); children (Sharon and Kimberly): grandchildren (Laquan, James, Jarrell, and Jayla) and great grandchildren (Sanaa, Lianna, and Skylar) his siblings ( Raheem, Abdul, Clozell, Myrna). He also leaves behind a host nieces and nephews and was very close with his extended family David and Gloria Perry and Robert and Johnnie Brown. James Mccluster will be missed but never forgotten.
