Jimmy's obituary
James “Jimmy” Lusk, 26, passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and kindness. Born on January 15, 1999 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jimmy was one of a rare and special set of triplets—a bond that shaped his life and heart in ways words can barely capture. Jimmy graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 2017, and was a proud Eagle Scout of Troop 30.
Jimmy was a man who could light up any room with his goofy wit, warm smile, and ability to make friends anywhere he went. A dependable friend and a loving brother, he had an adventurous spirit that drew him to the water, the woods, and anywhere life’s next thrill might be found. Whether he was traveling, flying in friend’s planes, captaining a boat, or valeting Little Rock’s finest, Jimmy brought joy and energy to every interaction. Jimmy loved his two nieces more than anything on earth, and spent every Christmas season making unforgettable memories with them.
Those who knew him will remember his silly humor, his generosity, and the way he never hesitated to show up for the people he loved.
Jimmy’s life, though far too short, was full of love, laughter, and timeless moments. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Theresa Lusk of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters Martha “Mattie” Lusk of Venice, Florida, and Mary Katherine “Kate” Lusk of Little Rock, Arkansas; nieces Elliott “Ellie” McGarrett and Magnolia “Maggie” McGarrett, both daughters of Martha Lusk; maternal aunt Vicki Elkins of Panama City, Florida; maternal grandmother Joan Bechtel of Venice, Florida; and maternal grandfather Guy Bradford of Benton, Louisiana, along with his wife Mary Jane Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Lusk of Little Rock, Arkansas, and his paternal grandmother, Louise Reynolds of Little Rock, Arkansas.
