James C. Lovig Jr, age 91 of Geneva, was an avid Cubs fan. He was also a long time Shriner and Geneva Masonic Lodge 139 member.

Jimmy is a retired employee of Furnas Electric in West Chicago.

He is the beloved husband of the late Ruth. Lovig, father of Tannie (Gary) Foiles, James "Jay" (Kim) Lovig, Chad (Michelle) Lovig and the late Dean Lovig. Beloved son of the late Lois and James Lovig Sr. Proud grandfather of Trevor Foiles, Krista Foiles, Jake Lovig and Rachael Lovig. Dear brother of the late Judy Lovig.
