James's obituary
James Clarence Love was born on July 20, 1938, to the late parents of Denson and Lillie Mae. James Love was born in a small town in Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age. He was educated in Birmingham. Most of his adult life was spent in Birmingham, Atlanta, Georgia, and he finally settled in Boston, Massachusetts, his home, where he eventually met and married his wife, Linda. James was a skilled Tire retreaded. He was active as a Mason in his Lodge, a Shriner 32 degree for many years.
His hobbies were riding his motorcycle, freshwater and deep-sea fishing, and a passion for playing and watching baseball. During one baseball game, a scout came to check out one of the players on the team. The scout noticed James's fast speed and approached him to sign with a major league baseball team. Although James rejected the scout's offer, he continued to enjoy baseball for many decades.
James is one of 10 children; 7 preceded him in death, Clifford, Ethan, Dennis Mae, Leila Mae, Climmin Jean, Willie Lee, and Robert.
To cherish his memories, James leaves a loving wife of 49 years, Linda, a daughter Dr. Jamica Nadina Love; three sons Eddie "Butterball," Clarence Lynn, James Darnell Esq.; sister, Mae Willie (husband-Rev. Orlando) Sims, and a brother Freeman (wife -Harriet), and many relatives and friends.
