James Lee Wright was born September 25, 1930 in Hoke County, North Carolina.  He attended Ben Haven High School in North Carolina and drove the school bus.  He joined the Air Force after high school and made a career of it.  His last duty assignment was Langley Air Force Base, Headquarters TAC, Langley, Virginia.  After retiring from the Air Force he took his Realtors Exam and started working for Harrison and Lear Realtors of Hampton, Virginia.  His first year as a Realtor he won Rookie of the Year Salesman.  During his career as a Realtor he won many awards as a Realtor.  His last job was working for Roberson and Associates in Newport News, Virginia.  He was the office manager as well as a selling agent.  Jim and Joyie (wife) were married August 31,1963 in Harnett, North Carolina. Joyie had a daughter prior to marriage, Diane and Jim had a son prior to marriage, James Lee, Jr.  August 31,1964 Jim and Joyie had a son together, Robert Alan Wright.  Jim passed away on February 23,1994 in Jerusalem, Israel on the Mount of Olives.  There was a rainbow in the sky the day he died.  Jim and Joyie were on vacation to Israel and Egypt.  His body was flown back to R Hayden Smith Funeral Home and he was buried at Parklawn Mermorial Gardens on Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia. Jim anad Joyie had a home on Lake Gaston, Henrico, North Carolina where they entertained family and friends.  Dr May officiated the Funeral Service.
