James (Jim) Lavelle, of Milwaukie Oregon, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2020 at the age of 87. Jim worked as a banker for a number of years before changing professions to office furnishings, moving and sales. After retirement Jim enjoyed dabbling in the stock market. Jim loved to spend time in the great outdoors, in particular elk hunting in Eastern Oregon. Jim’s favorite place to be was at “the cabin” along the Deschutes River. Jim is survived by his three daughters Brenda Braden of North Carolina, Toni Kammers of Oregon, Dawn Jennings of Nevada and his grandson Ryan Pratt of Oregon. A private ceremony will be held at a later time.
