It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of James "Jim" Mitchell on October 30, 2023. A beloved husband, brother,  father and grandfather.   Jim was born on August 22, 1938, and throughout his life, he touched countless hearts with his kindness and gentle spirit.

First and foremost, Jim was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Mitchell. Their relationship was one of deep love, unwavering support, and mutual respect that carried them through the joys and challenges of life. Jim was a pillar of strength and wisdom in his family and will be sorely missed by Pamela.

In addition to his wife, Jim is also survived by his siblings, brother Dan Mitchell, sister-in-law Joyce Mitchell, brother-in-law Sam Calles, and sister-in-law Lee Calles. His bond with his siblings was characterized by a shared history, fond memories and a sincere affection that will not diminish even with his departure.

Beyond being a dedicated brother and husband Jim was a proud father to three sons Steven. Derek and Jason Mitchell and their families.   He passed onto them his values of hard-work, kindness and integrity, shaping them into the men they are today. His legacy will live on through his sons and his grandchildren in both their memories and their actions.

Jim's loss will be deeply felt by all those who had the privilege to know and love him. His warm heart, generosity, and uplifting spirit will not be forgotten, but instead celebrated as we honor and remember an exceptional man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
