It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Kemp JR, fondly known as "Kemp". A man of enduring strength and resilience, he left this world on August 15, 2025, having been born on June 12, 1965.

James was known for his years of service as a brick mason, but his true passion lay in the joyous company of his family and friends.He was a true friend to those who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Mary Jane Kemp and James Kemp. The Mother of his children, Becky Kay Edwards.The void left by his departure is immense, but the memories he leaves behind are cherished by all.

James is survived by his loving children  Denny Edwards, Sarah Edwards, and Jamie Edwards. His light continues to shine brightly in his grandchildren; Daniel Gurley, Kimberly Gurley, Camden Bowes, Christian Edwards, Harley Edwards, and great grandson, Jaxton Gurley. James also leaves behind his caring sister, Patsy Poff, his loving brother Randy Kemp, and cherished nephew, Travis Rigney.

James lived an extraordinary life. He brought joy and happiness to all those around him, His legacy will be kept alive through the love and memories shared by his family and friends. James Kemp JR will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
