Background
Like St. Francis, the patron saint of animals, Jake had an effortless connection with every animal he met — including the neighborhood cat that spent the last year "borrowing" his morning paper from the driveway.
Jake requested that any donations be made to the Best Friends Animal Society, in honor of his love for animals, and every "best friend" he had -- Mitzi, Barney, Lucy, Mandy, Rusty, Kelly, Casey, Tobey, Teddy, Arlo, Bertie and Frankie. Contribute to Best Friends Animal Society

How are donations used?
Donations are used to make the biggest impact in ending the killing in America's shelters. This includes our major no-kill initiatives, funding our lifesaving centers, and grants to our Network Partner organizations.

What can be done with a $100 donation?
$100 helps provide six weeks of formula for an orphaned newborn puppy.
