James Jr. Cantero, born on May 16, 2019 in Columbia, South Carolina, left this world far too soon on March 28, 2024. He was a beloved son of James and Janine Cantero and brought immeasurable joy to their lives from the moment he entered the world. Despite his short time with us, James Jr. touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

His infectious laughter and bright smile could light up any room, bringing warmth and happiness to those around him. His playful spirit and boundless energy were a constant source of delight for his family members - seven cousins as well as uncles and aunts - who cherished every precious moment spent with him.

James Jr.'s passing has left an indelible void in the hearts of all who knew him. His parents are devastated by their loss but take solace in the beautiful memories they shared with their beloved son during his brief time on earth.

The funeral service to honor James Jr.'s life will be held on April 1, 2024 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Dunbar funeral home. Family members and friends are invited to gather together to pay tribute to this remarkable young soul whose presence enriched so many lives.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made in memory of James Jr., which will go towards supporting children's charities close to his heart.

Although we mourn his untimely departure from our midst, we find comfort in knowing that James Jr.'s spirit will live on through the love he shared with those around him. He may have been taken from us too soon, but his impact will endure forever in our hearts.
