James's obituary

James Johnson affectionately known as “Roderick” was born July 6, 1982, to the union of James Levan Johnson Jr and

Ruth Ellen Lawrence , in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was the fourth child born in their union of marriage.

He graduated from Hazelwood West high school in 2001, in Hazelwood MO. He obtained his CDL driver license on

October 2009 from Diesel Driving Academy in Little Rock, AR. This resulted in employment at Coca Cola Refreshments in

both Little Rock, AR as well as Saint Charles, MO. Most recently he worked for KEYS 2 SUCCEED TRANSPORTATION.

James married Natasha Fladger on February 16, 2010. From their lovely union there were born three children Zanae,

Zaylan and Zaria. James set a fine example for his family as a hard worker, which not only influenced his children, but

that of his nephews, nieces and others as well.

James dedicated his life to Jehovah God and symbolized his dedication by water baptism on January 6, 2001. As one of

Jehovah Witnesses, he enjoyed assisting as an attendant, AV operator, Watchtower reader as well as other duties at

weekly congregation meeting. He lovingly enjoyed associating with all the brothers and sisters within the Hazelwood

Congregation as well as with others in nearby congregations. He always looked forward to attending the annual Regional

Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses and the opportunity for loving fellowship and good times with family and friends

creating beautiful memories!

He was always willing to help others, by taking care of the Kingdom Hall or helping his spiritual family with their autos or

home care. James truly had a spirit of brotherly love. He enjoyed going out sharing his belief with others whenever he

and his family could.

James “Roderick” truly never knew any strangers. He loved people and more importantly he loved helping his neighbors

and people in general. James was the sort of person that would give you the shirt off his own back. He lived by the word

of God and truly believed in the hope of everlasting life in a paradise earth where all sickness, pain, sorrow, and death

will be no more (Revelations 21:3,4).

He is preceded in death by his brother Tyrone Johnson.

James “Roderick” Johnson leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Natasha and children Zanae, Zaylan, and Zaria.
