James's obituary
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Martin, who peacefully departed from this world on January 21, 2024. James entered this life on August 23, 1950, and spent his years fulfilling his life's purpose and touching the hearts of all who knew him.
A limb has indeed fallen from the family tree, yet rather than grieve for the loss, we are called to remember James in all his vibrancy and zest for life. The void left by his departure is immeasurable, but so too is the mark he left on this world with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering positivity.
To know James was to know he was hard working and even after retiring he stayed active and busy. He lived traveling back to his hometown where he’d bust his childhood friend. Smitty’ they were very close. He had the unique ability to find humour in the simplest of moments, and his and his long talks with other’s were humorous. . He was Pa Pa in our hearts, the one who made ordinary moments extraordinary, and the one who taught us that joy truly is the best remedy for all of life's challenges.
James led a good life, one filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that we will cherish forever. He lived his life with vigor and strength, teaching us all the importance of strenth and courage, and determination to get things done.His legacy will forever be treasured through the unforgettable moments and life lessons he shared with us.
In honour of James, let us remember not just the end, but the journey. Let us remember not the silence, but the laughter. And above all, let us remember the good life he lived while he was strong, the legacy he left behind, and the love he shared with all of us. May he rest in peace and his memory be a blessing to us all.
