Mr. Quickel was such an approachable man. I enjoyed his presence in my life. You Quickel boys were such well grounded young men. I enjoyed so much, the sharing of time & space with you & your family. And to reconnect with him and hear how much you meant to him in the recent interactions I had with him, where we got to talk about old times & things that I had missed with your family. He was a very kind and open and honest man. I hold you all up in great esteem. I am very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for the family's loss.

When I first met Mr. Q, we klicked instantly but he couldn't pronounce my name and before I knew it, my nickname became Fireplug.

I will miss him, his on-time Birthday calls and his Xmas cards.

Wonderful memories of a good and kind man who was certainly a father figure for all the boys on Queenspark Road in Little Rock.
