James "Jim" Jenkins, 88, of Belton, MO passed away peacefully in his sleep December 04, 2023. Jim was born and raised in Clinton, MO.  He retired from AT&T in 1990 and enjoyed jazz, most sports, gardening, genealogy, playing cards, walking with friends and being involved with his church. Jim will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Jim was predeceased by his wife (Carol), a son (Chris) and a daughter (Amy). He is survived by 2 children (Debi and David), 9 grandchildren (James and Jessie Jones, Katrina Jenkins, Alyssa Watson, Joshua Jenkins, Brad and Brandon Jenkins, Zachary and Garrick Harris) and 6 great-grandchildren. Jim requested a Celebration of Life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Jim’s family and friends to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at High Blue Wellness Center, 16400 N Mullen Rd, Belton, MO on January 6, 2024, at 1:00pm.
