James Hornby, born November 23, 1930 and passed away peacefully on March 23, 2023, at the age of 92.  James is survived by his wife Elfi and step-son Robert Hosman.

Throughout his life, James remained a devoted husband to Elfi and was a man with great integrity.  Although Jim retired thirty years ago from Safeco Insurance Company, he stayed active most of his remaining years.  He was an excellent skier and mountaineer.  His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.  Because Jim was a US Air-force veteran, he will be buried in Riverside National Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in James's name. May he rest in peace.
