James A. Hendry, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away on February 21st, 2022. James was predeceased by  his parents James and Juanita, who have passed away.  James is survived by his wife Judy, his children Jill, Jason,  Jennifer, and Travis., 10 grandchildren,and a great grandson. 

Jim Hendry was born in Glen Cove, NY to James and Juanita, on 10/26/1949. He remained friends with 2 people he met on that suburban street. He recently got to see one of them, and it was fun listening to childhood stories. He would move on to KS, when he was 18. He would later marry, Janet, and they would have 3 children Jill, Jason, and Jennifer. Life didn't turn the out the way it was planned, but he definitely was lucky to have 3 children who turned out to be incredible human beings, despite life's challenges. He was very proud of them, even though at times he couldn't express that. That marriage ended in divorce. He would remarry, Ann, and have another son Travis. 

We would meet later in life, unintentionally., after his divorce to Ann. We married February 21st, 2008. He spent many years trying to be a better parent, and person. He touched many people lives.,more than he knew. 

 He was not shy about expressing how he felt, about many things. He always kept it real.
