James's obituary

James "Squeaky" Harvey Jr. passed away in his home on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020. He was born February 18th, 1967 to James "Squeaky" Harvey Sr. and Annie M. Cobbs. He was residing and working in Charlottesville, VA but was long time resident of Lynchburg, VA. He is a former graduate of Heritage High School class of 1985. He is also a former veteran with the United States Air Force.

He is predeceased by his parents James "Squeaky" Harvey Sr. and Annie M. Cobbs. He is survived by his son Sir James (Chris) Harvey, and granddaughters Riley Harvey and Rhyan Harvey. He was formerly married to Karen M. Jefferson-Harvey for 31 years. He is also survived by his brother Deacon Rick Cobbs and half-sister Annie Harvey; his aunts, Ardella "Della" Jones and Joyce "Dee Dee" Cobbs; his uncles John "Booney" Cobbs and Charlie "Buncie" Slaughter; his niece, Tmerik Cobbs-Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Community Funeral Home at 909 Fifth St. in Lynchburg, VA at 2pm in the parking lot. Overflow parking and those able to walk across the street will be available in The Elks Lodge parking lot directly across from Community Funeral Home.
