Dinner out with Dad, Sandra, Deirdre, & Brendan | Celebrating Deirdre's Birthday

Dad and Brother Brendan came out to support my small business vending booth at a summer gathering. We played frisbee and hung out with a cooler of drinks and snacks. We met a lot of really neat people who shopped and supported my handmade items. It was a beautiful day.

Our hearts heavy with this great loss, we take solace with many fond memories of Jim. His obit is a wonderful goodbye to a man we all treasured.
Growing up his antics provided us rich entertainment. Somehow he made it through St. Pat's Elementary School without getting caught throwing his voice in the classroom. He bedeviled the nuns with bomb falling sounds that brought them racing to one side of the room to catch the culprit. They never found the guilty party, who was on the other side of the room with an angelic smile spread over his face.
As an adult he never failed to think of his cousins, sneaking them into special events he worked or giving special treatment in his bartending years. Despite his own health struggles late in life he made deeply appreciated efforts to visit and support Pat in his health battles.
Throughout his life he enriched all of our lives. Warm thoughts of him will sustain us always.

Jimmy was a
great brother. Being my older brother he would torment me like any brother would. One time while I was sleeping he changed the bedroom around. He woke me up in the morning telling me we were late for school. I nearly killed myself in the scramble getting out of bed. Jim, I'll miss your pranks, jokes and brotherly advice. Rest in Peace Brother. Love, Tom

Jim was a dearly valued family friend. He is deeply missed by my mum, my wife and I and our children. We all have many fond memories of his gentle and funny nature. From sitting on the deck for hours talking or conversation when making his own pizza on pizza night. He will always be close to our hearts.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing; he always made me feel welcome whenever I stayed at the Ginley house. I enjoyed our chats over breakfast, when he’d cook us up eggs benedict. May you find comfort in the memories you have together. RIP
