I am so very sorry to hear Jim passed away.   I worked with him at Maas Brothers for 11 years.  We apprehended many shoplifters together, got into a few scrapes, and still managed to get some laughs in.   He was a force to be reckoned with.

RIP, JIM💔

I worked with Jim in the late 80s at Maas Brothers loss prevention.  I learned a lot from him and thought about him many times over the years.  Great guy who gave me a chance right out of the Navy.   Thoughts and prayers with his family.  Daniel Alfonso

My sincere condolences to the Yancey and Gilmore families over the loss of your family member.  Losing a loved one is so difficult, no matter when, or how, it happens. There is no easy way to lose someone you love and it's always too soon.  I pray that you will find peace in your happy memories as you honor and remember your Dad until you see him again on the other side.  I have found that not a day goes that you don't think about your loss, but there are signs they are still there with you in spirit. Look for those signs because they will help you.  He will be in your heart and near to you always in spirit, even though he has physically departed.  May God Bless You during this difficult time.

The Davis Family sends our sincere condolences to the Gilmore family.  Jim was an amazing neighbor. You watched our princess , Aleah, grow up, go become an airman, and you always let her know how proud you were of her. As she effectively called you her “uncle Jim” I will always cherish the conversations and memories we made together even our disagreements, lol.  Listening to you play the piano and I would be singing along while I did yard work especially when you played amazing grace.  You will be missed neighbor. Sleep in peace
