James “Jim” Lamar Garnett, Jr. was born on October 4, 1946 and passed suddenly on December 20, 2021. Jim, born and raised in Perry, Iowa, attended Perry High School and graduated in the Class of 1964. He later attended Boone Community College and was also a brakeman and conductor for the Milwaukee Railroad. He met the great love of his life, also from Perry, and married Liz (née Wilson) a few months later on Moon …
