Jim's obituary
It is with immense sadness that we announce the departure of James "Jim" Ferguson, who passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Born on July 12, 1950, Jim lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, touching the hearts of all those he encountered.
In 1989 Jim and his family immigrated to America. New Jersey and then eventually Las Vegas. Jim was always listening to music, with Ne-Yo and classic R&B oldies being his some of his favorites. He was often the life of the party. Dancing to his favorite tunes or telling jokes.
He had a love for golf, either playing it or watching it on T.V. Another favorite past time of his was watching the Philadelphia Eagles football games with his grandson Daylin.
He was a happy, patient, caring, and resilient man who never held grudges and believed in letting things go. His calm strength, kindness, and easygoing spirit will be remembered and carried forward by all who knew and loved him. His life was a testimony to the importance of living each day to its fullest. We love you to eternity and beyond.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his daughters, Victoria and Hayley; and was a proud grandfather to Zah’Ryan and Daylin. He also leaves behind many family members in Scotland and England — most dearly his younger sisters, Carolyn and Alice, to whom he was very close — and was a much-loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up under the name "." The fund's purpose is to continue Jim's legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. Donations can be made at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of….
